In the Spring of 2017, Campari America decided to go mobile with their drink sales. They commissioned Taylor Workshop to design and fabricate a mobile cart for distribution in a variety of locations. The cart needed to haul supplies for Campari Cocktails, snacks, and hot coffee.

Before hitting the sketch table, our team defined the problem and interviewed Campari users for their wants and needs. Then, taking careful consideration of Campari’s brand language, our designers rapidly iterated possible mobile systems to best achieve our client’s goals and ensure positive user experience.

The final design includes an industrial cooling system for drinks and ice, a propane heater, sound system, and a transformer pull-out drawer complete with cutting board top. With landing gears in place to help level the system in new environments, the final cart parks into a L-Shaped, multi-level counter equipped with a weatherproof umbrella. The mobile unit functions as a push cart or tricycle transported system. The cart can be spotted today at Atlanta’s Ponce City Market!
