In the Spring of 2017, Chick-fil-A’s innovation center developed a growing need for functionality as a work and learning space and Taylor Workshop happily responded to that need. We took to understanding the user and the deeper purpose the space needed to fulfill.

After defining the question, we came to realize the opportunity in using the building itself as not simply a space for seating, tables, and more conference rooms. Instead, Chick-fil-A’s own 5-Step Innovation Process composes the floor plan. We allowed the practice to take physical form and create a design that transcends the typical office space. Each step of the process is represented by a physical space, the entryways opening back into the Forum and lined with clear acrylic panels to provide transparency to each operation.
